Derek Ruscin has been a part of the sports radio landscape in Arkansas for over a decade. Prior to the Ruscin & Zach program, Ruscin served as host of the Morning Rush from 2008 until March of 2018, stepping away after nearly 10 years and almost ten thousand hours of sports talk radio between the daily show and special pre and post-game shows surrounding Arkansas Razorback football broadcasts.
Previously, he spent two years working with KNWA-TV covering sports on a weekly, statewide sports TV show, Razorback Nation (now Pig Trail Nation). In addition to his duties at Ruscin & Zach, Ruscin serves as the play by play voice of Bentonville West Wolverine football and basketball. Ruscin grew up in Searcy and graduated from Harding Academy. When he isn’t working, he is probably spending time at home reading or watching old game shows.
